Customer Review: Seems to be a pretty good book. First one I've found that has actual menus in it for a month! That's the problem with most diet plans, they tell to to eat certain things, but you have no idea how to put them together.

Customer Review: Someone who had taken and passed NCLEX the first time she took it highly recommended this book to me, and I am so glad she did. I too passed on my first try, and this book was a great study tool. Prioritizing patient care and delegating tasks to LPNs and CNAs were NCLEX questions that I was not very good at, so this book was very helpful. It's all Q & A, and I felt like doing NCLEX questions was the best way to study for the test.

Customer Review: If you want a book that will explain nursing research in the most confusing way possible, you should get this book. The review questions on the CD help a good bit, but the book's explanations of terms and principles couldn't be more confusing. Throughout the reading they try to use "$10 dollar" words instead of simple understandable words that mean the same thing to describe very complex terms/principles. This just adds to the headache of trying to understand these terms/principles. The study guide book is useless. It uses crossword puzzles for each chapter review...yeah crossword puzzles. So you go from one extreme of using not-every-day words to the other of using 4 year-old games to exp...

I have bought a few books to upskill me on statistics and research methods but this book is the best book (of any type) I have read in a long time. It explains everything really well. I am doing a PhD is genetics and so require heaps of stats etc and it's great. Would recommend to anyone wanting a good research reference for statistics and clinical research methods.
