Customer Review: I bought new (not used) book. It's nice, pages are not too thin and pictures are really bright.
There is enough space on pages if you'd like to write/add your own notes :-) I like the cover, it does seem to be made for repeated flipping!
This edition has Efficient preparation section that was missing in some previous years. I think it's a very good section that was out for several years.

Customer Review: While I feel like there is some important information missing from this book, its not meant to be a complete text and is supposed to be supplemented with other material. I am using this along with Step up to Step 2 and USMLE World ? bank. I feel like I'm getting an adequate exposure to all topics this way. With that being said, I have't taken my test yet...

Customer Review: This is an incredible referrence tool for radiation oncology professionals. Although mostly radiation oncology residents always carry this book in their lab coat, it's an execellent tool for radiation therapists and radiation therapy students. Eventhough treatment decisiion and prescription is radiation oncologist's preragative, still radiation therapists need to have sound knowledge of radiation oncology while treating patients daily. Also radiation therapy students can use this book for their oncology review

Customer Review: If you want to understand the nature on how to cure "incurable dieases" then read this definately. Moderate medicine did not and would not help me. The first week of doing the diet therapy some symptoms that I've had for years all of a sudden started to dissappear. The doctors could not tell me whats happening to me but that I should stop it immediately. If you don't have the money to do the whole therapy at least by the book and read it. You could be saving your life if not someone else's.

Customer Review: Like a typical pretest book, this book is only questions, which do not comprehensively cover surgery. While some questions are good, expect a good number of the questions in this book to be completely unrelated and so random that they are not going to help you pass the surgery shelf examination. Unfortunately this can make some of the sections in this book very difficult. However, I think that it is fair to say that this is one of the few question books that you can buy for surgery. Customer Review: I am a med student in my clinical clerkship year and at first found it difficult to figure out what my role was as a Junior Medical Student. This book helps define your role in the hospital as well as everyone else's role. It also provides a framework for hospital protocol. I wish I would have had this book before my first rotation. After reading it I felt a lot more comfortable about what I am supposed to do. This book should be required reading before starting clerkships - you won't feel so lost and will make a better impression on hospital staff.
