Customer Review: I really wanted to like this book. I usually like Christian fiction and usually like hospital settings, but this book was disappointing. The writing was average. The main characters were not multi-dimensional enough, and the plot was not strong enough and was without complexity. Supporting characters sometimes were more interesting than the main characters. Although I finished reading it, the book did not hold my interest. I will probably not read any other works by this author.

Customer Review: I'm guilty. I like to read sometimes just for the fun of it. I don't really want to read, or think too much. And when this happens, I reach for a Harlequin** book and read it in less than 24 hours. It's a great quick read (no matter how long the book is) and gives me the happily ever after (HEA) that I've always wanted, the man that does it all even with flaws.
I was given this WONDERFUL book to read by Tyndale House Publishers and was very excited about it. I expected to get some good romance, lovable characters and some relaxation to boot. Well guess what? I got more than I bargained for.
I need to let you know that I am a hard headed person sometimes. I rarely E...

Customer Review: I listened to this book as an audio book, so my perception may be different than others'.
I thought it was a very good book. Better than some of the past books in this series (not that any were BAD). This story was mostly about Belinda, Marty and Clark's youngest child. Belinda is almost a young lady now and is starting to find her way in the world. She is very sensitive to the needs of others and when people, and animals, are hurt. Her older brother, Luke, who is a doctor, takes Belinda under his wing to begin training her as a nurse.
Also, Marty's granddaughter Melissa (Missie's daughter), also comes to live with the Davis family for 2 years to get more sch...

Customer Review: Still guilt-ridden by her mother's death, Dana Steele, RN, takes on a new challenge. Dutchman Gannon van der Vere was temporarily blinded in a boating accident and retreated into a cold, dark world, devoid of human contact. Dana attempts to make him see both himself and everyone around him in a whole new light. Slowly, Dana falls in love with her patient, but will Gannon still care for her if he regains his sight? In this novel, it's difficult to say who was more touched by love.

Customer Review: I knew the Nurses of the Pacific had a tough time and was not happy when my orders said "Okinowa" but Mother Nature saved me and my orders were changed. Every Library in the U.S. should have copies of these Nurse books. Most people have no idea of the number of Nurses taken prisoner during WW2 or the ordeals they suffered as P.O.W.'s of the Japanese. Just caring for the wounds of war is bad enough to try to forget. Rose,(ex Army Nurse).

Customer Review: I know this is kinda pathetic but I still remember the trauma of leaving my Nurse Nancy book on the seat of a neighborhood swing set and returning to find that some kid had stolen the band-aids out of it. I wonder if buying this copy will make up for it.

Customer Review: "A Nurses Story" is a very educational and intersting book. I enjoyed reading it and I learned so much about what goes on in the nursing world. Tilda Shalof tells about her experiences as a nurse and tells stories about patients she had to deal with. She also talked about the emotional side of being a nurse. She had a hard time with the emotional patients because she would take it into her own life. Overall I really liked the book and I would highly recomend it.
