Customer Review: This book has helped me tremendously with my Masters studies in Forensic Sciences. i don't think I would have made it through Pathology without it. It is full of information, but luckily is not as heavy or as big as an encyclopedia. The CD is also a very good addition to the mix. Well worth the money.

Customer Review: Nice book. Mostly internal medicine. Wish it gives a more comprehensive coverage on ambulatory medicine also. I did not find much on basic surgical topics. I couldn't find stye or cold sore on the book. Either that, or maybe I just can't find it.

Customer Review: I needed this book for a psychopatholgy course I am taking. I had the 1994 edition, but needed the updates. The book arrived quickly, in great condition, and provided me with a quick reference to what I needed, just as it was designed to do. Getting the unabridged edition (all 900+ pages), is much more costly, so this combined with viewing the complete text at the library was the most efficient option.

Customer Review: I ordered this book primarily for my wife who teaches yoga and has a much more spiritually-oriented view of the human body. I am more of a pragmatist, so when I picked up the book to read, it was through decidedly skeptical eyes.
Okay, this book is not for everyone, but it still makes a fascinating read for those at least curious about alternative views of human anatomy and "energy" points. I can't say that I am totally sold on the notion of chakras and color-coded auras, but there is not...
