Customer Review: This is a great informational book for the person who is entering uncharted waters regarding the health and well-being of a family member or friend with mild cognitive impairment or mild dementia. It teaches the basics and is a great beginner book. You will need to pursue other avenues to obtain information regarding advanced impairment or dementia. This is a great door-opener but leaves questions unanswered regarding progression of dementia or Alzheimers and how to deal with issues regarding non-compliance of a patient.

Customer Review: I work on a team that develops special geriatric healthcare programs and I bought this book to help me with my new job. This book has already been extremely helpful in my work. It's easy to read and understand. My only criticism is that sometimes I wish it was a little more in depth or detailed, but that might just be me and my thirst for knowledge. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase and recommend this book to anyone working with older adults.
