Customer Review: Morgan & Mikhail Clinical Anesthesia is a great reference book for anesthesia. Takes out a lot of the extra and hits the points in an easy to follow manner. It truly gets a lot of travel time. V

Customer Review: Remember, this is an introductory text. There will be items not touched upon or topics without depth. However, the diagrams and photos are of help to the resident physician and the book lends itself to quick, yet superficial review. I would still argue it belongs in every anesthesiologists library.

Customer Review: I was very disappointed with this book. I was hoping for a text in which I could look up cases I wasn't already familiar with (I am in 4th year of Residency in Canada), but I found that every time I wasn't familiar with a case, neither was this book; i.e. it didn't have ANY listing of the procedure at all. This kept happening repeatedly, and now I rarely bother to open it. If you are a beginning resident who doesn't know how to do anesthesia for a lap chole, this book would be great. But for...

Customer Review: This is a pretty decent review book for some of the most common things you will see on Anesthesia rotations. It's not meant to be a reference book, so it's tough to find specific topics sometimes. It gives you a pretty good overview of different areas in anesthesia. I think it's a much better book then blueprints, but it's a lot more detailed so it takes a while to read the whole book.

Customer Review: Very helpful to get help for those cases you don't see often in the OR setting. I would recommend this book to residents as well as to senior anesthesiologists.

Customer Review: This book is a decent resource. I was expecting much more detail in regards to management of some of the more unusual diseases, such as multiple myeloma, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, etc. If reading one of the bigger books, this one seems unnecessary, although it may be nice for a quick review later. For now it'll sit on my bookshelf...

Customer Review: The 4th edition is essentially the same as the old edition, which can be had at significantly cheaper rates.
Pros: Divided by subject to focus on particular areas. Index is helpful. Question format is a nice change from other review forms.
Cons: There are quite a few errors that detract from quickly going through subjects and make explanations confusing. Many of the questions are low yield, just fact associations for memorization, rather than clinical situations promoti...
